What is eSalahKaar?
eSalahKaar is a mobile app that connects MBA aspirants with verified current students from top B-schools like IIMs, XLRI, ISB, FMS, and MDI. You can have 1:1 voice calls or chat sessions to get personalized guidance on exams, interviews, college selection, and more.
How much does it cost?
There are no subscriptions or fixed packages. You add money to your in-app wallet and pay per minute of consultation. Rates start from ₹10/min — each consultant sets their own rate. You only pay for the time you actually use.
How do I start a session?
You can either book a 15-minute scheduled session (call or chat) at a time that works for you, or use Instant Connect to call a consultant who's online right now. Just make sure you have enough wallet balance before starting.
Are the consultants really from top B-schools?
Yes. Every consultant goes through a verification process before being listed. We verify their college enrollment, student ID, and academic credentials. Only current students or recent graduates from top 20 B-schools are approved.
What if a consultant doesn't show up?
If a consultant doesn't join within 5 minutes of the session start time, the session is marked as a no-show and you receive a 100% refund to your in-app wallet instantly.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Cancel before the deadline (2 hours before session) for a 100% refund. Consultant cancels or no-shows — 100% refund. All refunds are instant to your in-app wallet.
What payment methods are supported?
UPI, debit cards, credit cards, and netbanking through Razorpay. All payments in Indian Rupees (₹).
Is the app available on both iOS and Android?
Yes. Available on Google Play and App Store. Free to download.
Can I become a consultant?
If you're a current student or recent graduate from a top B-school, download the eSalahKaar Consultant app and complete verification to start monetizing your experience.
How do instant calls work?
Tap 'Connect Now' on an online consultant. You need 5 minutes of wallet balance. Billing starts when the consultant picks up. Partial minutes rounded up. No charge if they don't answer within 30 seconds.
